The Prototype Design Lab is an open-access makerspace focused on developing prototypes from initial conceptualization to final fabrication; in other words, it's a place to just make cool stuff. 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC routers, a plasma cutter and a vinyl cutter are among the many types of equipment available for use. Whether you’re an artist, an engineer, an inventor, a business owner, or just simply curious, the Prototype Design Lab can make your creative vision a reality. Technicians are available for assistance.

Lab Membership

Current MCC credit students have free access to the lab, plus cost of materials. The Lab is open to the public by registering below, or by calling Central Registration at 531-MCC-2400 or by registering here.
