The MCC Project Management Academy is a comprehensive education program suitable for all background and experience levels in project management. The program infuses a diverse curriculum of project management principles, real world application and culminates with a capstone project integrating many of the concepts and best practices learned in the foundation of the program. Upon successful demonstration of project management knowledge and skills through the capstone project, students achieve a MCC Project Management Academy Certificate
All curriculum is approved through the Project Management Institute (PMI)®, taught by PMI certified instructors, and are authorized for PMI Continuing Education credits.

This Digital Marketing Certificate program consists of six, month-long modules with two week breaks between each module.
This course introduces participants to the essentials of project management. From the standpoint of a single, stand-alone project, students go through the project life cycle to manage a real project in the workplace. Topics include project life cycles, including initiation, planning, executing, controlling, and closing. Subjects addressed include project charter, creating a WBS, network diagramming, finalizing the project plan, scope management, earned value measurement, and change control. This course is for project team members, project managers, and key stakeholders. Course is eligible for PDU's.
This course introduces participants to the key concepts, methodologies, and best practices of collecting and managing project requirements, project estimating, budgeting, financial justification, and cost control. Topics include procurement planning, contract selection, source selection, procurement documents and procurement execution and control. The topic of earned value management, a technique commonly employed on larger projects to track progress and performance, will also be covered. Subjects addressed include the process for collecting and analyzing requirements, defining scope through effective WBS practices, procurement planning, execution, and contract control. This course is for project team members, project managers, key stakeholders, and professionals who desire a career in project management. Course is eligible for PDU's.
This course addresses the people side of project management and how to be an effective project leader. Topics include strategic planning process at both the organizational and project level. All topics are taught with case studies, exercises, and discussion. This course is designed for project managers, program managers, executives, sponsors, team members involved with driving success in projects in the context of dynamic change and shifting organizational strategies and professionals who desire a career in project management. Course is eligible for PDU's.
This course introduces participants to the key concepts, methodologies, and best practices and approaches of project management, quality and control, and philosophies and techniques. Topics include planning, quality assurance, performance control, establishing project metrics, change control and configuration, categorization of complexity, project sponsorship, stakeholder analysis and communication and techniques for managing large, high uncertainty and "edge of chaos" projects. Participants work in a team environment with hands-on activities. This course is for project team members, project managers, key stakeholders, and professionals who desire a career in project management. Course is eligible for PDU's.
This course ties together many of the salient challenges of project management in order to give students the deepest possible understanding of the complexities involved in undertaking a project. Participants employ and develop skills pertinent to personnel selection and training, motivation, conflict management, and stakeholder management. This course is for project team members, project managers, and key stakeholders.
Qualified project management practitioners are in demand. Regardless of your career stage, the CAPM is an asset that distinguishes you in the job market and enhances your credibility and effectiveness working on, or with, project teams. This 9-hour course prepares participants to demonstrate understanding of fundamental knowledge, terminology, and processes of effective project management. Prerequisites are secondary degree and 1,500 hours of project experience or 23-hours of project management education completed by the time you sit for the exam. MCC's Project Management Academy track fulfills this educational prerequisite.
