The Designing Effective Meetings workshop is designed to build high-level meeting skills. Participants learn effective meeting planning, management, and evaluation strategies through a series of competency-building exercises, action planning methods, and reflection activities. 


By the end of this online workshop, participants will be able to:
  • Plan a meeting
  • Conduct a meeting
  • Apply meeting participation processes
  • Complete meeting “aftercare.”


This workshop is eligible for a Novice-Level Digital Badge. To earn the digital badge, participants must complete all activities and score an 85% or better on all assignments.


About the Facilitator

Kim has over 20 years of experience in the adult learning field. She has a master’s degree in Adult Learning and Performance from Drake University and holds three professional certifications: Executive Coaching, Experiential Learning, and Career Counseling. She has over 20 years of experience presenting and facilitating workshops on strategies for effective meetings. In her current role as Director of Workforce and IT Innovation – Corporate Online at Metropolitan Community College, Kim partners with businesses and corporations to create engaging learning experiences for both credit and non-credit courses.
